Fine Quality Notecards feature scenes from UW-Madison Campus
This box contains eight 5" x 7" fine quality notecards. Each card has a unique montage of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The buildings featured on the montage include Van Vleck, Bascom Hall, Social Sciences Carillon, South Hall, Law Building, Education, State Historical Society, Science Hall, Music Hall, Memorial Union and the Clock Tower.
Our gift boxes are clear plastic on both top and bottom so you can see a memorable scene at first glance, turn it over and on the back of each card is a short biography of the artist, Professor Daggett. We’ve added a gold corded ribbon to give them a special touch.
Painted by Professor Ron Daggett, a UW-Madison alumni and mechanical engineering professor. Professor Daggett died in 2004, but is remembered for his engineering breakthroughs as well as his precise watercolor paintings. The Professor co-developed one of the nation’s first successful plastic heart valves and developed one of the nation’s first university plastics departments.
