McArthur Towel & Sports

Founded in 1885 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, McArthur Towel and Sports, Inc. began the first 85 years focusing purely on the production of towels. In 1972 the company decided to go beyond just production and became a wholesale, a distribution, and a marketing operation. In 1983, McArthur Towel & Sports found a new niche that was not widely used in the towel business world: licensed merchandise. Today, McArthur Towel & Sports distributes sports gift items under the licenses of the National Football League, National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, Professional Golf Association, and many college sports teams.
