$7 of the purchase price of each set of note cards will be donated to the American Heart Association, Go Red For Women Movement of Southeast Wisconsin.

In 2007 UW Hospital and Clinics Nurse Helen Martin combined her two passions – nursing and quilting – to educate women about their risk for heart disease. Helen called upon Wisconsin quilt guilds to create a series of quilts to raise funds for Go Red For Women, a national awareness program of the American Heart Association.

The quilts and a set of six notecards inspired by the quilts are for sale with proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association Go Red For Women movement of Southeast Wisconsin.
