Ellingers Agatized Wood

The Ellingers Agatized Wood was created by Walt and Hubert Ellinger after they toured Germany and witnessed some of the wood dishware being sold. Coming back to the United States, the Ellingers began production in making wood bowls and trays in 1950. The Ellingers blend their wood products with Melamine, which makes them waterproof. These FDA approved wood products are molded at extreme heat and pressure, allowing the wood products to be virtually indestructible; along with the durability, the wood products are maintenance free and dishwasher safe. Ellingers Agatized Wood products have an assortment of kitchen items that are used by both home owners and businesses, and some customers from the late 1950’s have called up to say how happy they still are with their wood dishware. This gives the family-owned business great pride in their work.
