This versatile set can be used for popcorn, chips and dip, even for cereal. Made of pine sawdust and melamine, these bowls are virtually indestructible! The unique composition allows you to serve hot and cold foods and makes them maintenance free and dishwasher safe. Stain, chip, peel, blister, and crack resistant, this seven bowl set includes following: six individual 5-3/4" salad bowls and one 9-1/4" serving bowl. Available in natural or black.
These bowls have non-permeable construction so they do not harbor bacteria like natural wood products do. They are waterproof, dishwasher safe, easy to clean and will not warp, crack, peel or chip even after many years of use. They will withstand heat and cold and are almost unbreakable. These products are FDA approved. The bowls have been tested for use in microwaves and although no adverse results were noticed, they did not design them for this purpose specifically. Being a partial wood product, the container may heat up more than other manufactured counterparts.
